EDUCATING CHILDREN HOW PROPHET

Before the popular parenting terms, the Prophet Muhammad has given attention as well as the example of how caring is good and right. If we are observant and want a little bothered to read the reference time, we will find many traditions associated with it. Prophet said, "Every baby born in a state of purity, the parents are responsible, whether the child will be Jewish, Zoroastrian or a Christian." (HR.Baihaqi). In another narration the Prophet also said: "Whoever has two children and cared for properly, they will cause the entry to heaven." This Hadith implies the importance of early education for children as a preparation for life in the future. Especially now that many found a bad influence on children. If the parents are not clever filtering information for children, then the children's mental breakdown just waiting for his time.

Islam does not teach violence, also prohibits abusive and violent parents do to their children. But that does not hit until the pain is still considered to be within normal limits, and therefore should not be used as an alternative punishment. For example, when the child was 7 years old, then parents should teach and get used to praying. If it has been 10 years and the child does not perform prayer, then parents should punish in a way that is not painful hit or hurt.

The teachings of Islam are very comprehensive providing the caring guidance or parenting children. In the case of breast milk for example, Islamic Shari'a set as children's rights, not the rights of the mother or the father. If a mother wants to break (not given) of breast milk to her child, it must be through a family council. In this case, the father was appointed a spokesperson and represent the interests of young children. Mom should not be for reasons syar'i cut breast-feeding. When finally forced to cut syar'i reason, the father shall find breast milk from another woman. Not by way of instant replacing breast milk with cow's milk.

Apparently a lot of parents who do not understand this simple matter. They follow only the caring ways and patterns that had been running in the general population, though not necessarily in accordance with Islamic law. Prophet has not been exemplary. One important thing: Parenting is not an instant way. Parents must be willing to take pains, sweating, even if the need to "bleed" if you want her deeds. There is no other way except to fight, earnest endeavor and spiritually. Including not stop praying for the safety, success, and glory of the children.
